POSITION SUMMARY:The Apprentice Nurse will practice their clinicalskills and become acclimated to the role of licensed nurse. Apprentice Nurse works in a health facility (hospital, skilled, nursingfacility/long term care facility), community health maintenance organization (HMO),providing nursing care following a skills list approved by the Board of Nursing. - Works using the guidelines established by the Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
- Assists in care plans and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
- Assist in nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
- Must be currently enrolled in accredited nursing program and in good standing.
- Must have the ability to use skills in which they have been trained prior to licensure.
- The Apprentice Nurse works per diem.
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
