Freelance Autism Assessors – Remote
Location: Remote (ADI-R)
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £400–£800 per assessment (ad hoc, multiple assessments can be completed per day)
Start: Immediate
I’m working with a growing Autism assessment service that’s looking for experienced clinicians to carry out Autism assessments on an ad hoc basis. With demand rising across NHS-funded pathways and private clients, this is a great opportunity to build a varied portfolio, work flexibly, and make a meaningful impact.
The Role
You’ll be conducting full Autism assessments using ADOS-2 and ADI-R, producing clear, professional reports, and working independently within a structured framework. There is also the opportunity to contribute to MDT meetings to share clinical insights and support best practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting ASD assessments for children and adults
- Writing detailed, professional diagnostic reports
- Working autonomously to formulate diagnostic conclusions
- Participating in regular MDT meetings
Who We’re Looking For
- HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, or Occupational Therapists
- NMC-registered Nurses with relevant Autism assessment experience
- A minimum of 12 months’ post-qualification experience conducting Autism assessments, OR at least 50 completed ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R assessments
- Confident and experienced in the use of ADOS-2 and ADI-R
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting
