## Key Role Overview Associate Photographers capture media for Homes.com and Apartments.com by producing 3-D virtual tours, floorplans, and professional residential photography using Matterport Pro3 cameras and digital equipment. The role is field-based within a core territory, involves scheduled appointments with clients, and requires coordination with scheduling, sales, research, logistics, and management while being managed remotely by a local Photography Manager. This hourly, bonus-eligible position emphasizes accuracy, client communication, and coverage of both residential and commercial inventory. ## What are the Key Responsibilities? - Capture high-quality 3-D virtual tours and footprints using Matterport Pro3 and related equipment to support marketing on Homes.com and Apartments.com. - Create a portfolio of photographs to showcase homes and apartments using professional photography techniques. - Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demand. - Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks. - Navigate one-mile square grids when not working on residential homes to ensure complete commercial real estate data coverage and identify new inventory or missing availability. - Abide by Co. Star safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment and represent Co. Star professionally at all times. - Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. ## What are the Required Qualifications? - At least 2 years of professional experience. - Real estate photography experience required. - Experience working as a professional photographer or a recently earned degree in photography. - Be an experienced drone photographer with a FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer. - Strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately capture and enter data. - Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. - Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and internet applications. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment. - Candidates must possess a current and valid driver's license and satisfactorily complete a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start; driving history must reflect responsible behavior and compliance with traffic laws. ## What are the Preferred Qualifications? - Field experience is preferred. ## Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: $49,000 - $50,000 annually (hourly position; equivalent annual amount provided). - Position is hourly plus monthly bonus-eligible compensation based on performance metrics. - Comprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Vision, Dental, Prescription Drug). - Life, legal, and supplementary insurance. - Virtual and in-person mental health counseling services for individuals and families. - 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions. - Employee stock purchase plan. - Paid time off. - Tuition reimbursement and internal training opportunities. - Access to Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Employee Resource Groups. ## Additional Information - Field-based role located in Mobile, Alabama; managed remotely by a local Photography Manager. - Physical demands include repetitive/frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking up to 8 hours per day, occasional bending/stooping/squatting/lifting/twisting, and lifting/maneuvering equipment up to 5 pounds. - Ability to work and drive outdoors in all seasons and to work weekends on a rotating schedule. - Drug-free workplace with pre-employment substance abuse testing. - Co.
