Associate Recruiter, College Programs

The position is ongoing and seasonal, not defined as part-time or full-time. It requires a minimum of 24 hours of availability per week during the full recruitment season. The number of hours scheduled will vary and is based on business needs, as well as times when no hours will be scheduled due to the seasonality of the work. This is a fully remote position that will require in-person training during onboarding, and as the business requires, in Orlando, FL. If you are motivated to join this work, we want to hear from you!   What You Will Do  In this exciting role, you will demonstrate a solid understanding of people, processes, and technology within a fast-paced environment. You will conduct interviews for those who have applied to the Disney College Program. The interview intends to assess the interest and ability to be successful on the DCP, as well as gain an understanding of the candidate’s preferences and skills for role placement and support them with any questions they have along the journey. Along with ensuring applicants experience memorable interactions, you will join a team that continually challenges itself to undergo constant evolution within our operational processes.   Driven to support and assist the top talent during the candidate lifecycle  Thrive in an ever-evolving work environment  Have a passion for not only the Disney brand, but for each conversation you have with candidates  Cultivate, build, and maintain relations with key partners across the team  Detail-oriented and focused on your day-to-day work  Relatable and can adapt quickly to various personalities  Required Qualifications & Skills   Solid understanding of recruitment operations with a focus on interview techniques and applicant assessments, and shown to be an active listener  Validated experience applying Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) as well as SharePoint Strong system and tech acumen that supports the use, navigation, and development in various system platforms  Demonstrable track record to navigate and troubleshoot from a computer technology standpoint  Ability to handle confidential information  Capacity to work in a structured and autonomous environment while communicating effectively   Excellent verbal communication skills while creating an effective engagement experience in supporting our applicants  Ability to work successfully in a team environment and communicate effectively with minimal direction or supervision  Ability to multi-task and stay diligent in a constantly evolving team while effectively balancing and prioritizing multiple projects, as well as being proactive with the logistics of the role  Task and solution oriented with experience following structured processes  Preferred Qualifications   Demonstrable experience leading College Program students  Proven experience partnering with the Disney Internships & Programs areas  Prior or current The Walt Disney Company experience with an understanding of Disney’s HR systems and processes  Proven success with College Program Recruitment Experience  Experience with BrassRing and or other ATS platforms Education   BA/BS degree or equivalent experience  Additional Information   Required Availability: This position is Seasonal Casual Temporary and requires a minimum of 24 hours per week based on Eastern Standard Time office hours (Monday–Friday) during recruitment seasons (August–November, January–May). This opportunity is ongoing. Availability during non-recruitment season may be required based on business need. There may be limited to no hours in the off season, and hours during the season are based on business need.  Location: This position can be located throughout most of the continental United States utilizing a dedicated home office (that includes a reliable phone, a high-speed internet service, and video capability).  Travel: Travel to the Orlando area will be required for initial on-boarding training as well as potential ongoing training (typically once per year)  The hiring range for this remote position is $29.47/hour to $41.40/hour. The number of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
