Build Data Entry Form + Flat File Pipeline for Power BI Strength Tracking

Build Data Entry Form + Flat File Pipeline for Power BI Strength Tracking

Project Overview

Studio Bloom is a women’s strength and wellness studio seeking a skilled contractor to build a simple, reliable workflow for entering client strength data and feeding it into Power BI for visualizations. Our goal is to reduce manual data entry, minimize errors, and create clean, consistent data that powers client friendly strength progress dashboards.

We currently track strength metrics manually and want a streamlined system that allows us to input data once—through a form or structured file—and automatically generate a flat data file suitable for Power BI.

What We Need

We are looking for someone who can:

• Build a simple, user friendly data entry form (Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, Excel automation, or similar)

• Create a clean, flat data structure optimized for Power BI

• Set up a workflow that automatically feeds the form data into a flat file (CSV, Excel, or database)

• Ensure the workflow is error resistant, scalable, and easy for non technical staff to use

• Provide basic documentation so we can maintain the system long term

Ideal Skills & Experience

• Power BI (data modeling, DAX, data transformations)

• ETL / data pipeline development

• Experience building forms or structured data entry tools

• Strong understanding of flat file design for analytics

• Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem (Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel)

• Ability to translate real world workflows into clean, efficient data structures

Experience with fitness or client progress tracking is a bonus but not required.

Deliverables

• A working data entry form or interface

• Automated workflow that outputs a flat data file

• Clean, well structured dataset ready for Power BI

• PowerBI for client progress visualization

• Light documentation or a short walkthrough video
