<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Lab Informatics Transformation Lead</p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> Newark, CA (On-site – minimum 4 days per week)</p><p> <strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p><p> <strong>Duration:</strong> 6–12 months</p><p> </p><p><strong><u>Job Description</u></strong></p><p>Our client, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a <strong>Lab Informatics Transformation Lead</strong> with strong experience in laboratory informatics systems such as <strong>SDMS (Scientific Data Management Systems), ELN (Electronic Lab Notebooks), and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>This role will support the <strong>configuration, implementation, and administration of laboratory data management platforms</strong> while ensuring alignment with scientific workflows. The role will also involve coordinating vendors and project activities to ensure successful implementation and delivery. The position reports to the <strong>Laboratory Informatics / IT organization</strong> and requires a professional who can work closely with scientists and IT teams to ensure accurate data capture, traceability, and proper data governance across laboratory systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead the implementation and configuration of <strong>ELN, SDMS, and LIMS platforms</strong></li><li>Translate scientific laboratory workflows into scalable digital systems</li><li>Integrate legacy laboratory instruments and instrument-generated data into SDMS platforms</li><li>Support laboratory data migration and maintain strong data governance practices</li><li>Provide system administration, including <strong>user access management, permissions, and system integrations</strong></li><li>Coordinate with vendors and manage project timelines and implementation activities</li><li>Ensure <strong>data traceability and standardized data capture</strong> across laboratory experiments</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required Skills</p><ul><li>Hands-on experience implementing or supporting <strong>SDMS (Scientific Data Management Systems)</strong></li><li>Experience working with <strong>ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) platforms</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>discovery laboratory workflows, data flows, and scientific processes</strong></li><li>Experience integrating laboratory instruments and managing instrument-generated data</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>laboratory data governance, traceability, and system configuration</strong></li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively with <strong>scientists, laboratory teams, and IT stakeholders</strong></li></ul><p></p>
