Corporate Social Responsibility Intern - Summer 2026

Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) is dedicated to serving the health and well-being of Rhode Islanders. The intern will assist in advancing organizational social responsibility initiatives, programming, and events while providing administrative support to the team.


Responsibilities

  • Gain experience to all facets of corporate social responsibility, while supporting department operations
  • Attend department and committee meetings as related to the work
  • Assist team with event logistics, from ideation to planning and execution
  • Represent BCBSRI at community-based events in a professional manner
  • Assist with researching market trends and best practices in the evolving field of corporate social responsibility
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Strong PC-based/software skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
