Finance Specialist

<p><strong>Responsibilities, Authorities & Accountabilities:</strong></p><p>Provide general accounting support for month-end close while the team works toward LCD+3</p><p><strong>Perform and support:</strong></p><ul><li>Journal entries</li><li>Month-end close activities</li><li>Account reconciliations</li><li>Understand and interpret applicable</li><li>Enterprise Standards, SOPs, and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services</li><li>Identify flag flaws in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes, and recommend improvements.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Provide payments support, focused on:</strong></p><ul><li>Processing payments across 25 bank accounts / 7 legal entities</li><li>Supporting resolution of misdirected payments and other banking-related activities coming from HQ</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or High school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Finance</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience using SAP in accounting operations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Characteristics:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills</li><li>Ability to work independently</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p></p>
