Graduate Student Success Manager
Performs all administrative and operational functions of a program. Coordinates all program events and personnel and provides services directly to customers. Develops and implements program policies and procedures. Performs budgetary functions and oversees media communications, website updates, and newsletters.<br><br>Office of the SVC and Provost<br><br>The Office of the Provost is seeking candidates for a Graduate Student Success Manager to join the Graduate Studies team led by the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies. The Project Manager will collaborate across campus to manage a comprehensive plan and set of programs that promote graduate and professional [HS1.1]student academic success, retention, and overall wellbeing. Key programs include the K. Leroy Irvis Fellowship Program, the Graduate Global Ties Peer Mentoring Program, and the Students in Community Dinner Series. The Project Manager will develop and manage other student success programs where needed.<br><br>This role will be highly visible and will provide an opportunity for an individual to make a significant impact. Qualified candidates will represent the office in a highly professional manner and interact with a broad population dedicated to advancing the university’s commitment to removing barriers to success for all students. This role requires familiarity with a range of graduate student experiences; creative thinking; strong collaboration and communication; organization and management skills; and flexibility and adaptability in an emerging and changing environment.<br><br>The Graduate Studies Team operates in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
