Guard Shack Attendant
We are hiring a Guard Shack Attendant in Victorville, CA for a full-time position with 12-hour day or night shifts, Monday–Sunday, on a temp-to-hire basis. In this role, you will provide site security at a processing plant, monitoring and documenting all vendors, visitors, and employees entering or leaving the facility. You will conduct routine security checks, complete daily reports, and ensure the site remains safe and secure at all times—even when plant operations are not running. This role follows an Alternative Work Schedule (AWS) and may include weekends and holidays, with occasional light janitorial duties as part of the shift.
Responsibilities
- Check in and out vendors, visitors, and employees entering or leaving the facility
- Perform hourly and daily security checks throughout the site
- Complete daily security reports and communicate updates to site management
- Follow security protocols and contact emergency services when necessary
- Monitor the facility and report safety concerns or unusual activity
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 6 months of security guard experience (industrial site experience preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site
- Basic computer skills to complete reports and communicate with the team
