Role Description
As a Customer Care Specialist, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers shopping online or reaching out to retail support. Your role is a blend of service and sales—focused on guiding customers through their buying journey, answering product-related questions, resolving concerns, and upselling solutions that enhance their experience.
- Handle 30–40 inbound calls per day with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Provide personalized product recommendations and complete transactions
- Resolve customer inquiries efficiently while delivering exceptional service
- Translate technical information into simple, customer-friendly language
- Actively listen to identify needs and tailor solutions accordingly
- Adapt to a fast-paced sales environment and evolving technology offerings
- Maintain high energy and empathy in every interaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing sales or service role
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to work independently and make confident decisions
- Proficient in using digital devices (Mac, iOS, etc.)
- Basic troubleshooting experience for common tech issues
- Typing speed of at least 42 WPM with 95%+ accuracy
- Digital media experience (music, photography, video) is a plus
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Available to work shifts between 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM Central Time
