We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as directed by chefs or cooks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support the cooking staff during service by preparing garnishes, assembling plates, and ensuring timely delivery of meals.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
• Participate in catering events when required, ensuring high standards of food presentation and service.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient kitchen atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory; culinary experience is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
