Pay Rate: £85 – £115 per day

Are you a compassionate and resilient Learning Support Assistant looking to make a genuine difference? GSL Education is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join specialist settings in Ipswich supporting pupils with a range of additional and high-level needs.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will support students with ASD, SEMH, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities, helping them access education in a safe and structured environment. This role requires proactive Learning Support Assistants who can build trusting relationships and implement consistent support strategies.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support

• Assist with EHCP targets and tailored interventions

• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

• Promote independence and life skills development

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or within SEN settings

• Understanding of autism, SEMH, and associated needs

• Calm, patient, and adaptable approach

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
