About the position

The Manager of the Critical Action & Assessment Team (CAAT) at BioLife Plasma Services is responsible for overseeing the operations of plasma collection facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency. This role involves managing staff, providing training and support, and implementing programs to enhance performance and service delivery. The position is remote and requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage various operational aspects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of plasma collection facilities, including financial, marketing, administrative, regulatory, quality, personnel, and facilities management functions.
  • Supervise daily functions and staff activities across departments to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Work with operations to identify training and development needs and determine strategies to meet those needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate programs for the Critical Action and Assessment Teams (CAAT).
  • Provide on-site support of plasma center operations as needed, including interim management roles.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company-specific regulations related to quality and safety.
  • Coordinate travel schedules and arrangements for support personnel and training centers.
  • Market and recruit talent for support programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years leadership experience in a medical or regulated field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Ability to attract, retain, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and communicate with senior management.
  • Requires obtaining and maintaining CPR and AED certification.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree highly desirable.
  • Previous plasma center manager experience.
