Lead and manage the Federal Sales team focused on the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Department of Treasury to achieve revenue targets and drive growth. Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to increase market share and meet business objectives. Build and maintain relationships with key federal clients, including the IRS and Department of Treasury, to identify opportunities and drive sales. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in the federal market to inform sales strategies and adapt to market shifts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales efforts. Provide guidance and mentorship to the sales team, setting expectations and goals and fostering a culture of high performance. Monitor sales performance and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any deficiencies. Represent IBM at industry events and conferences, serving as a thought leader and promoting the company's brand and solutions. Collaborate with the Federal Sales leadership team to develop and implement best practices and processes for sales effectiveness.
