MWA AmeriCorps Conservation and Outreach Member This position is offered through the Pennsylvania Mountain Service Corporation and is a 300-hour temporary position from May 22nd, 2026 – August 1, 2026. Member will serve at Mountain Watershed Association, 1414 Indian Creek Valley Road, Melcroft PA 15462 Member will be expected to: Conduct water quality monitoring activities including treatment system monitoring, bacteria monitoring, biological surveys, etc. Manage bacteria lab and swimmable water program including volunteer recruitment, coordination and training Conduct maintenance activities at mine drainage treatment systems Conduct water quality data entry Attend staff meetings and outreach/conservation team meetings as needed Conduct trail maintenance or MWA property maintenance and monitoring Participate in fundraisers and outreach events such as local events, festival, fairs, etc for information tabling Coordinate and host Environmental Educational programs ...
