Outreach & Access Steward (AmeriCorps)
Chocorua Lake Conservancy (Chocorua, New Hampshire) is seeking a half-term AmeriCorps member from May 18 to October 28, 2026, to serve as Outreach & Access Steward.
The Outreach & Access Steward will support sustainable public access at Chocorua Lake and on conservation land in the Chocorua Lake Basin; assist with trail maintenance; support volunteer projects on CLC conservation properties; assist with educational programs; and communicate CLC's work.
Over 150,000 people visit Chocorua Lake each year to photograph, picnic, swim, paddle, and fish.

About Us: Chocorua Lake Conservancy (CLC) is a land trust founded in 1968. CLC owns and stewards 800 acres of conservation land across 17 properties, manages three lake access areas, protects 2,500 additional acres through perpetual conservation covenants and easements, and maintains 24 miles of trails on Mount Chocorua and conservation land.
Our Mission: To preserve the ecology and pristine waters of the Chocorua Lake Basin, maintain trails on Mount Chocorua and conservation lands, and provide welcoming access to Chocorua Lake for residents, visitors, and future generations.
