Nanny Position – Holland Park Family
Location: Holland Park, London

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 25 hours per week

Salary: £20 per hour (junior nanny rate) // £22 per hour (experienced nanny rate)

Additional Babysitting: Up to 30 hours available, paid at an additional hourly rate

About the Family

We are delighted to be working with a wonderful family based in Holland Park. They have a bright and energetic 2-year-old son who attends nursery. The family are looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive nanny to join their household following the departure of their much-loved current nanny.

The Role

This is a part-time nanny position offering 25 hours per week. The family are flexible and keen to work with the right candidate to create a schedule that works for everyone.

Schedule Option 1:

Monday & Friday: Full days (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Tuesday – Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (includes nursery pick-up, 5 minutes from home)

Schedule Option 2:

Monday – Thursday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Friday: Full day (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

The family understand that split schedules can be challenging and are open to adjusting nursery hours on Mondays if the second option works better for the successful candidate.

Occasional evening and weekend babysitting will be required on request, paid at an additional hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities

Providing high-quality childcare for their 2-year-old son

Nursery pick-up and drop-off as required

Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities

Preparing healthy meals and snacks

Light housekeeping duties related to the child (tidying play areas, children's laundry, etc.)

Occasional babysitting in the evenings and on weekends

The Ideal Candidate

Experience working with toddlers

Warm, nurturing, and engaging personality

Reliable and flexible

Comfortable with a part-time, split schedule

Able to commit to occasional babysitting

Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)

Paediatric First Aid qualified (or willing to complete training)

Excellent references
