What you will be doing <ul><li>Prepares and distributes course outline / syllabi to students</li><li>Teaches lecture and laboratory sections relating to culinary subject matter</li><li>Maintains accurate attendance records</li><li>Develops teaching and learning strategies that optimize student performance</li><li>Develops recipes, menus and curriculum</li><li>Complies with department and College policies and procedures</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul>What you need to succeed <ul><li>High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and professional experience in academic and/or professional expertise in corresponding field</li><li>State Certification where applicable </li><li>Prior experience teaching adult learners</li><li>Excellent communication skills </li></ul>Ability to work during class times <ul><li>Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment</li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and some weekend assignments </li></ul>Preferences Food & Beverage experience Additional Requirements The final candidate is to successfully complete a background screening and reference check process.
