Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM (Overtime as needed)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining equipment functionality. This position requires a strong technical background and a commitment to safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
**This is a temporary position located in the USA and we are actively seeking Puerto Rican candidates. Transportation & Housing are provided by employer after arrival to the USA. Inbound & Outbound travel from Puerto Rico are covered by the employer. American VISA Exchange is handling the recruiting efforts for the employer and is their authorized representative.
Duties
- Monitor and control production processes to ensure optimal performance and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Document process parameters, production data, and any deviations from standard operating procedures.
- Train new employees on operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Assist in the development of process documentation and standard operating procedures.
Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and methodologies.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, adjust, and maintain automated production equipment to ensure consistent quality and output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues on the production floor.
- Support setup and changeovers of machines, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct visual inspections and quality checks to meet product specifications.
- Record and report process parameters, production data, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve efficiency and safety.
- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and machine calibrations.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or coursework in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or automation preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automation processes.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Proven commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
