Remote Deposit Supervisor (Full Time) - Lubbock, Ave. Q
About the position
Responsible for reviewing mobile deposits, ATM deposits and RDC deposits watching for any potential fraudulent transactions. Aids branch personnel.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the completion of reviewing all remotely deposited items, including mobile deposits, ATM deposits and remote deposit captured items.
- Review daily reports.
- Assist banking centers with any questions.
- Creates and maintains schedule for department associates.
- Review rejected items for new account(s) opened through Blend.
- Establish and maintain effective and professional business relations with internal departments.
- Answer questions and resolve requests or problems promptly and courteously.
- Inform contacts of Bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and the Bank's professional reputation.
- Establish and maintain effective coordination and communication with Bank personnel and management.
- Assist related departments as required.
- Support and replace Remote Deposit Review personnel as needed.
- Keep management informed of area activities and significant problems.
- Provide suggestions for improved Remote Deposit Review effectiveness and efficiency.
- Attend and participate in meetings as required.
- Complete required monthly reports and related documentation.
- Stay informed of changes in Remote Deposit Review policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Assist other departments when fraud has been detected.
- Resolve more complex issues presented to the department.
- Perform as department lead on projects at times, completing given projects with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Operational understanding of deposit account documentation.
- Some banking preferred or related experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Accurate and attentive to detail.
- Well organized.
- Self-starter.
- Willingness to assist others.
- Fluent in Excel, Outlook, Word, etc. and able to operate related computer applications, viewer, and PC.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Desire to pursue answers/solutions.
- Independent problem solving.
- Regular attendance required.
