[Remote] Language Content Specialist/ AI Linguist

They are seeking a Language Content Specialist/AI Linguist to work on natural language data labeling and ensure consistent data annotation across various modalities.

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Linguistics, Language Studies, Communication, Speech Processing, or a related field
- Native or near-native proficiency across the language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
- Strong listening, reading, and writing skills in English
- Ability to strictly adhere to annotation guidelines and think analytically about units of language
- Experience researching and applying {language placeholder} orthographic, stylistic, and formatting conventions to enforce consistent data annotation
- 6+ months of natural language data labeling experience across multiple modalities (audio, text, image, video), including annotation, transcription, entity tagging, and quality assessment
- Comfortable wearing headphones and performing transcription-type work for extended periods of time
- Comfortable with the possibility of handling explicit or offensive language in annotation data
