[Remote] Partnership Tax Compliance - Busy Season Contractor - FSO EDGE

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EY is currently seeking experienced Tax Compliance contractors for their Winter/Spring 2026 Tax Busy Season. The role involves preparing and reviewing federal and state tax compliance forms for investment partnerships and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal (1065) and state tax compliance forms for investment partnership returns
  • Prepare and review taxable income allocations and K-1s, K-2s, and/or K-3s for investment partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research to accurately interpret and apply partnership tax laws and regulations related to partnership tax compliance
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax compliance projects, addressing any tax-related inquiries or issues that arise during the process

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of partnership tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, particularly in relation to Form 1065
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred, or related field
  • CPA or EA preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience in investment partnership tax compliance, with a focus on wealth and asset management, private equity, or hedge funds preferred
  • Familiarity with technology - including Microsoft Excel - and tax preparation software programs
