[Remote] Senior Product Engineer, Rocket Ready

Rocket Money is dedicated to improving the financial prosperity of millions, and they are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join their Rocket Ready team. This role involves developing technology and solutions that enhance client readiness for homeownership, collaborating across teams, and focusing on both new and existing systems.


Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate is local to and interested in working from any of our offices (Silver Spring, NYC, SF, Miami, Denver) 1-2x per week
  • We’re looking for experienced, full-stack software engineers to own the lifecycle of turning our team’s ideas and needs into reality
  • Write clean, reliable code across a variety of platforms
  • Have significant professional experience working with one or more of the following: Python, React (or similar frontend framework), Postgres (or a similar relational database)
  • Are naturally collaborative, curious, and communicative, and enjoy ideating with product, marketing, and other engineering teams as much as you love writing code

Skills

  • Have 7+ years of experience in relevant software engineering projects
  • Have significant professional experience working with one or more of the following: Python, React (or similar frontend framework), Postgres (or a similar relational database)
  • Write clean, reliable code across a variety of platforms
  • Are naturally collaborative, curious, and communicative, and enjoy ideating with product, marketing, and other engineering teams as much as you love writing code
  • Are motivated by our mission to help people improve their financial lives, and achieve homeownership
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit, and are excited to use your technical skills to positively impact business outcomes
