Sales Manager, Pacific - STR Australia

## Key Role Overview This role is responsible for driving and sustaining the growth of hotel participants and wider industry clients across the Pacific / South East Asia region by owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to onboarding, training and subscription renewal. The Sales Manager will provide regional expertise and insights to clients, protect data quality, and support client relationships while working autonomously and engaging with a broader regional team. ## What are the Key Responsibilities? - Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, lead qualification and nurturing, closing sales, onboarding, training and subscription renewal. - Generate new business opportunity subscriptions with hotels and industry partners. - Manage, retain, and develop client relationships to grow data coverage, product usage and subscription value. - Develop and implement strategic account management plans. - Negotiate and renew client contracts. - Deliver presentations to onboard and educate existing and new clients on STR products. - Represent STR at client meetings, third-party and industry conferences, including delivering market data insight presentations. ## What are the Required Qualifications? - Strong and proven industry knowledge in Accommodation Revenue Management and the Investment sector. - Established industry network across South East Asia. - Extensive local knowledge of the South East Asian markets relevant to the role. - Local language skills from the region. - Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. - Highly organized with strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers and hotel performance statistics. ## What are the Preferred Qualifications? - Prior experience managing accounts, sales lead generation, and hospitality industry experience (stated as an advantage). - Experience delivering client trainings, onboarding and conducting market-insight presentations. - Experience working autonomously within a regional team and coordinating cross-functional engagement. - Willingness and ability to travel regularly within the South East Asian region. ## Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: Not specified. - Key benefits: superannuation, 20 days annual leave, maternity and paternity pay, and additional benefits as part of working at Co.
