In the course of further growth, we are building within our team a new team Motor International and are looking for you as a claim manager for KFZ damages (w/m/d). As a claims manager, you will be involved in the complete claims settlement process for both property and personal damages. You will take on the responsibility for processing your cases and be the first point of contact for all parties involved with the aim of competently and solution-orientedly supporting our customers. This includes: Proactive settlement of damages to reduce claims expenses Empathetic and sovereign negotiation skills in dealing with claimants, lawyers, and other parties Formation and monitoring of claims reserves Examination and enforcement of claims for reimbursement Support in court proceedings After a structured induction, you will quickly take over the independent processing of your cases. You can always count on the support of our experienced Motor Team we work closely together and help each other. What we wish for: Completed legal education or training as a merchant in insurance and financial services or a comparable qualification with appropriate work experience Practical experience in claims processing at an insurer or claims processing office Liability law knowledge as well as knowledge of procedural law and experience in the regulation of foreign car damages are a helpful addition Enthusiasm for independent work Secure handling of Microsoft and everyday programs Negotiation skills in dealing with different parties Interest in shaping the digital change in claims processing English skills facilitate your work in daily contact with our international customers and partner offices Nice if you have already heard some of these terms: liability ratio, reserve, claim, proactive claim settlement, HWS.
