Shopify Expert & E-Commerce Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify Expert to take full ownership of our store’s technical performance and growth. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Shopify platform, including theme customization, app integration, and technical optimizations designed to increase site speed and boost sales conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Store Optimization: Implement technical changes to improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall User Experience (UX).
  • App & Plugin Management: Audit, install, and configure third-party apps (subscriptions, loyalty programs, upsells) to ensure they integrate seamlessly without slowing down the site.
  • Custom Development: Modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create custom sections or functional improvements.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Analyze user behavior and heatmaps to implement A/B tests on product pages and checkout flows to maximize ROI.
  • Technical SEO: Manage on-page SEO elements, including metadata, image alt-text, and site architecture to improve organic rankings.
  • Catalog Management: Oversee complex product imports, collections, and automated tagging systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Shopify Mastery: Deep knowledge of the Shopify admin, Shopify Plus features (if applicable), and the Liquid templating language.
  • Frontend Development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • E-commerce Strategy: Proven track record of using technical tools to increase Average Order Value (AOV) and Conversion Rate (CR).
  • Analytics: Ability to interpret data from Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Shopify Analytics to make informed technical decisions.
  • Problem Solving: A "plugin-light" mindset—knowing when to code a solution manually rather than relying on heavy apps that bloat site code.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with headless commerce or Hydrogen (Shopify’s React framework).
  • Background in UI/UX design.
  • Experience managing integrations with ERPs, CRMs, or email marketing tools like Klaviyo.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED4,500.00 per month
