Soft Count Clerk

Job Summary
This position is accountable for counting and recording the contents of all the Casino and Parking Operational cash transactions. The team is composed of three employees under Cage Supervisor direction: and all under Casino Comptroller direction.

Essential function

• Verify, balance, and fill the Casino Kiosk, Coin Machine, and parking pay station for the daily operational functions.
• Verify prior day Tito transactions of cashier and Kiosk.
• Verify and prepare Parking and F&B deposits.
• Verify all cash deposits of Parking and Food & Beverage department.
• Prepare Bank deposit slips and armored car deposit bags.
• Perform the Casino Table Game Drop Boxes, Electronic Roulette Cash Drop boxes and bill acceptor boxes for slot machines with the Government of Puerto Rico Gaming Commission Company.
• The counting and recording of the contents of the Drop Boxes in accordance with the procedures described in this submission.
• Accurately count, record the currency, promotional items, and documents of the casino drop boxes daily and slot cashiers.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for accurate counting and recordkeeping.
• Basic math skills essential for quick calculations involving cash, chips, and banking transactions.
• Experience in a casino environment or retail setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Cash handling expertise combined with knowledge of cashiering procedures.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Pay: From $10.50 per hour
