The Speech Therapist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.<br><br><ul><li>Evaluates communication challenges through assessments, diagnoses disorders, and reviews patient histories.</li><li>Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, conducts therapy, and educates patients and families.</li><li>Collaborates with healthcare teams, consults with professionals, and participates in interdisciplinary meetings.</li><li>Maintains accurate documentation, ensures compliance, and updates treatment plans based on progress.</li><li>Engages in research, provides staff training, and teaches manual sign language when needed.</li><li>Builds positive relationships with patients, families, and staff, supporting quality improvement initiatives.</li></ul>
