About the position
The position involves user discovery, managing functional partnerships, design research, influencing and building stakeholder consensus, driving customer/client needs, usability testing and iteration, and serving customers and members. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of user experience strategies, stakeholder management, research principles, and effective communication techniques. The candidate will be responsible for conducting user interviews and surveys, analyzing qualitative user data, managing relationships with stakeholders, proposing research hypotheses, and translating research insights into actionable recommendations. The position also emphasizes the importance of integrity, respect for individuals, and striving for excellence in all aspects of work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user discovery through interviews and surveys to understand user requirements.
- Assist in creating user journeys and storyboards.
- Analyze qualitative user data with guidance.
- Manage functional partnerships by identifying and engaging stakeholders.
- Conduct design research and propose hypotheses.
- Verify the reliability and accuracy of research information.
- Translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
- Build productive relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Drive customer and client needs by analyzing feedback and identifying process improvements.
- Conduct usability testing and document testing scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 2 years' experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.
- 4 years' experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area.
- Driving product development in a design research area.
- Research or design certification (e.g., IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate).
- Experience in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
