Job Description

Join Apple’s dynamic team as a Virtual App Store Reviewer! We are seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy individuals to ensure the quality, safety, and adherence to guidelines of applications submitted to the App Store. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute to a global platform from the comfort of your home in Mandera Town, Kenya. As an App Store Reviewer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and user experience of the App Store, evaluating apps for functionality, performance, user interface, and compliance with our strict content policies. Your meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment will directly impact millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly review applications submitted to the App Store for compliance with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines.
• Evaluate app functionality, performance, design, and content across various Apple platforms (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS).
• Identify and report any violations related to security, privacy, content, or technical specifications.
• Communicate review decisions clearly and concisely to developers, providing actionable feedback.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving App Store policies, industry trends, and new technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain a high level of productivity and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in content moderation, quality assurance, or a similar review-based role.
• Strong understanding of mobile applications, digital content, and online platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to make impartial, objective decisions based on established guidelines.
• Proficiency with macOS and iOS devices.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with App Store Connect or similar developer portals.
• Familiarity with various app genres, gaming, and emerging technologies.
• Proficiency in additional languages relevant to app markets (e.g., Swahili, Arabic).
• Degree in Computer Science, Communications, or a related field.
